Reviewing books was initially a suggestion from a friend in college as a joke. However, TPwB has had various names and websites to host it over the years until now, the final version.
As someone who has been reading books for almost sixteen years now, probably more if one counted the books read to me as a babe, reviewing books has become a way of trying to give back to the teachers, librarians and family members who encouraged and shared the gift of reading. It would be lovely to encourage anyone to develop their reading skills.
Goodreads has been one of the various shells that this blog has occupied over the years. As a website that has the majority of reviews, the site is predominantly used to host the thoughts and feelings held after reading the various books. It makes the writing of reviews easier.
However, in the two years of professional reviewing, the blogs have achieved a total of 3,000 reads in total which includes countries such as: Europe, North and South America; Asia; and of course, the country in which the blog is written in, the UK.
